After a hectic week at a conference in Sydney, I was craving a peaceful getaway, and the Lane Retreat was the perfect choice. Nestled by a serene dam, my studio was not only spacious but also incredibly modern, flooded with natural light through windows on three sides. The thoughtful touches, like a fridge stocked with gourmet breakfast provisions and delightful coffee facilities, made it feel like a home away from home. Waking up to a stunning view of the small lake, I enjoyed my continental breakfast on the private balcony while sipping on fresh juice, all while soaking in the sounds of nature. I'm still daydreaming about that relaxing vibe - nothing beats sharing a bottle of wine outdoors, especially with the tranquil backdrop. Plus, the added luxury of the outdoor pool was just the icing on the cake! The location is also perfect for exploring local gems like the nearby wood-fired pizza restaurant, making it easy for me to indulge my love for good food without needing a car - the retreat's shuttle service was a lifesaver. I genuinely can't wait to return, as I'm already planning to revisit with some adventure-loving friends to share the magic of this lovely place.
